Ionic Swaps

Ionic Swaps are Zano's improvement on atomic swaps: two parties exchange assets peer-to-peer, in a single on-chain transaction signed by both sides, with full privacy. Neither party can cheat or gain an unfair advantage, and no intermediary ever holds the funds.

Because Confidential Assets share one chain, an Ionic Swap can exchange any Zano-based assets directly, and outside observers cannot see the asset types, amounts, or addresses involved. This is what powers Zano Trade, the ecosystem's DEX, and the Swap function built into the official wallets.
